About

"Discover the uniqueness that is in you and show it without fear "

Desirea creates timeless, handcrafted, and tailored soutache jewelry that expresses your values and authenticity. Through refined designs, we transform artisanal art into a unique, wearable luxury, a piece of jewelry that expresses who you are.

Founded in 2022, Desirea was born from a profound need: to find a form for authentic beauty!

Desirea jewelry isn't just an accessory, it's an expression of self. It combines Italian creativity with an ancient artisanal technique to create wearable works of art.

The artisanal art of soutache, in our case, has been passed down from daughter to mother, with the desire to instill confidence and self-awareness in every woman, precisely because, thanks to jewelry, we have understood the importance of feeling free from self-criticism and judgment and of expressing ourselves.

From the Armonia collection, which includes all the customizable "must-have" pieces, to the Opera collection, where you can find unique and unrepeatable pieces, to the special collections, made with materials and designs that evoke unique emotions and special cultures: each creation is designed to make you feel fully yourself.

The goal is that, by wearing them, you can say to the world:
"It is me, in my authenticity."

The name Desirea was born from the desire to express uniqueness through every shape and color.

The root "Desire" evokes the commitment to transforming your desires into jewelry, while the final "A" pays homage to the feminine soul of our brand, founded on the love of three women: a mother and her daughters. The symbol of two hearts represents the unconditional love that binds us.

Desirea stands for
refined design,
craftsmanship, and
high-quality materials.

We craft all our jewelry following our 3Ps: Passion, Patience, Precision.

Be inspired and discover your unique style through our jewelry!

The soutache technique

The choice to use this technique stems from the possibilities it offers for customizing shapes and colors. The soutache technique allows us to create accessories and appliques in the most imaginative shapes and is perfect for expressing our creativity.

Soutache has its origins in the 17th century, initially developing in Hungary and Russia, where it was used to decorate aristocratic garments, military uniforms, and traditional costumes with decorative cords made of silk or other fine materials.

The use of soutache in jewelry creation is relatively recent and is thanks to contemporary artisans and designers who have transformed this technique into an art form. Among the pioneers of this evolution is Dori Csengeri, an Israeli designer who reinterpreted soutache with a modern style, bringing it to international attention.

The technique is distinguished by the use of flat cords hand-sewn around pearls, crystals, and cabochons, creating refined, three-dimensional weaves.
This process requires great precision, craftsmanship, and creativity, making each jewel a work of art that tells a story of tradition and innovation.
